Crypto derivatives exchange FTX has announced the launch of a $2 billion fund. The fund, which will focus on investing in startups in the cryptocurrency industry, will be headed by Amy Wu an experienced venture capital professional who recently joined FTX from Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Wu tweeted about the launch of the fund, stating that: “We’re launching FTX Ventures today, a $2B fund for builders, by builders. We’re excited to support great teams across crypto, web3, and more”.
The fund will “invest in equities or tokens, at any check size, at any stage”.
