Brian Brooks Joins Board of HBAR Foundation

The HBAR Foundation announced today that Brian Brooks, the former Acting Comptroller of OCC, CEO of Binance US, and Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of Coinbase, has joined their board.

Brooks is a well-known advocate for the crypto industry and led a number of crypto and blockchain favorable initiatives during his time in various governmental roles. Under Mr. Brooks’ leadership, the government made significant strides in achieving regulatory transparency for stablecoins, digital asset custody, and the advancement of blockchain payment networks. Furthermore, he oversaw the granting of the first federal bank charter to a cryptocurrency firm.
