Over 120 Million Stolen From BadgerDAO

BadgerDAO was victim to a front-end hack on Wednesday evening.

BadgerDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization, which allows investors to use their bitcoin as collateral, or earn yield on their cryptocurrencies, across various DeFi protocols.

The official twitter account reported that Badger had received reports of “unauthorized withdrawals of user funds” late on Wednesday evening.

According to security experts, PeckShield Inc., over $120 million dollars worth of cryptocurrency were stolen from the DAO. One user lost approximately 900 bitcoin, which is currently worth over 50 million dollars.
