Aptos Announce Partnership with Microsoft

Aptos Labs today announced that they will partner with tech giant Microsoft.

The partnership centers around leveraging the expertise of both entities to simplify the integration of Web3, making it accessible to a broader audience. The partnership’s focal point is the introduction of Aptos Assistant, a user-friendly Web3 onboarding tool, powered by a blend of Aptos and Microsoft AI technologies. Aptos Assistant will guide users through Web3 basics and empower creators to build smart contracts and decentralized applications.

The collaboration extends beyond basic integration. Aptos Labs and Microsoft plan to explore the potential of AI in DeFi innovation, including asset tokenization, payment solutions, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). This move is expected to accelerate the adoption of Web3 solutions within the global financial sector.

Security is also a key concern addressed by the partnership. Aptos Labs will enhance the security of its blockchain by running validator nodes on Microsoft’s Azure platform. This strategic move is intended to fortify the infrastructure and reliability of the Aptos blockchain.
