The Liechtenstein Cryptoassets Exchange (LCX) reported yesterday evening that one of its hot wallets had been compromised.
A hacker reportedly moved a number of Ethereum-based tokens, including ETH, USDC, EURe, and LCX to an external wallet.
An official statement from LCX noted that user funds remain safe and that it had “taken security measures to protect other wallets and assets”.
The hack hasn’t drastically impacted the price of the LCX token. It was trading at around $0.16 when the hack was announced and momentarily dropped to just under $0.13. The price of the token appears to have bounced back since then.
